Performance Enhancement - Case Study #211

A leading merchant-builder of luxury apartments internationally enrolled their on-site property managers in a set of trainings to enhance skills in 3 areas: Market Awareness, Business Proactivity, and Financial Credibility. A business-behavioral simulation was created to allow participants to identify the key behaviors required to strengthen these skills. Brainstorming and modeling of several of these skills was staged.  In order to realize specific, targeted business performance improvements, each manager implemented sets of 3 commitments.

A web-enabled follow-up tool allowed participants to re-live and remember both curricula content, as well as access a multi-sensory recreation of the simulation and their personal experiences while in the point-in-time training event. A three-month period of post-training time included follow-up web conferences to promote further reflection on learning, a sharing of best practices, and to support accountability to commitments and measurable business impact.
