Organizational Consulting
Facilitating the Human Performance Side of Organizational Change

Organizational consulting services address the interaction between human behavior and business elements such as reporting line structures, communication and decision-making processes, long-term strategic objectives, and compensation systems. The components of an ongoing consultative relationship may include formal diagnostic needs assessment, advisement on change initiatives, coaching, and ongoing analysis of training program efficacy.

Methods and settings for organizational consulting services often include multiple on-site meetings, review of relevant documentation and organizational systems, and the development of specific financial or business objectives. Services may use business simulations, facilitated adventure experiences, interactive problem-solving, creative projects requiring strategy, computer-based interventions, and phone or in-person coaching. These experiences, which can be provided in indoor and outdoor venues or traditional meeting settings, typically include on-site work in our client's place of business.

Needs assessment for organizational consulting services often uses one or several of the following processes: targeted business review; phone and in-person interviews; paper and electronic surveys; review of documentation, such as policy and procedures; and formal assessment metrics addressing key business indicators (for example, a Balanced Scorecard approach), and ongoing systemic organizational change work.
